Multiplying Fractions.
This is perhaps the easiest operation to perform on fractions. It involves multiplying the numerators together and the denominators together.
Dividing Fractions.
This is slightly more complex, but can be easily remembered if you know your ‘KFC’ – and no not the edible one 🙂
KFC stand for
Keep : Keep the first fraction as it is
Flip : Flip the second fraction so that the numerator becomes the denominator, and the denominator becomes the numerator
Change: Change the sign from Divide (/) to Multiply (x)
