Very often, when working with sequences, one of the questions you might get asked is whether a number is a term in the sequence you are given.

Obviously, one way could be to list the numbers in the sequence until you get to the one you are given. But, what if your number is large; in this case, listing the numbers may not be the right approach. So here is what you need to do.
